Who I am

© 2026 Eddie Boothby. I am a DJ, and Boothby’s Workshop is my personal place for audio: the tracks I pick, the sets I play and the mixes I make, shared as DJ Boothby Eddie B. I designed the site and wrote its code myself. Boothby’s Workshop and BoothbysWorkShop.com are the names of the site.

Registered with the United States Copyright Office. The registration is held by me, Eddie Boothby, which lets me enforce my rights in federal court and recover statutory damages and attorney’s fees for infringement.

What is mine

My own tracks carry ownership tags (artist, a copyright line and a link back to the site) inside the file, so the credit travels with the music when it is shared.

The music I pick

The site plays music I have picked by hand. The recordings and songs in my picks belong to the artists, labels and publishers who made them, and they keep every right they have. Playing a track here gives you no licence to copy, download, resell or reuse it, and it does not change who owns it. The site is a personal, non-commercial showcase of my taste. I do not sell the music I pick.

Sharing and your clips

The Drop it button lets you record a short clip of the live floor. These clips are made to be shared. Post them anywhere, in public, for free: social media, messages, your own pages. Please keep the title card, the credit and the BoothbysWorkShop.com link that come with the clip.

Your own part in a clip (your voice, your face, anything you add) stays yours. Please do not sell a clip, use it in an advertisement or change it to hide where it came from. If you send a clip to the Clips Archive, I may show it on the site and on the clips wall. I will take a clip down when you ask.

What you make is yours

The songs, samples, loops, beats, voices, pictures and words you bring to a tool, and everything you make with the tools, music included, are yours. The site does not claim them, does not keep them and takes no licence to them, apart from what you choose to send in yourself (the Clips Archive or the wall). Where the site adds a flag, it is the site name, BoothbysWorkShop.com: the corner mark on a clip, the credit line or the made-at line on a report. It shows where the thing was made and does not change who made it. Please leave it in place when you share. You are responsible for having the right to use what you bring.

Please do not

Without my written permission, please do not copy, republish, sell, sublicense, scrape in bulk, decompile for reuse, or train machine-learning models on the site’s code, text, my own recordings or my mixes, and do not build a copy of the site or a product from them. Viewing the site, sharing links to it and sharing your own Drop it clips are welcome.

Other people’s material

Open-source libraries, fonts and other resources I did not write belong to their owners and stay under their own licences. The MP3 encoder in my browser tools is lamejs, which is open source under its own licence.
